Hi, so I have a fat 40 gb PS3 with a CFW installed on it.
I've got it second hand (it was barely used though) and put the CFW myself, and it's been working fine for the last half a year or so.
But just today I sat down to play Darkness, then randomly the screen froze, covered with artifacts and the system wouldn't response (although audio still played normally).
It happened before and usually worked fine after resetting, but now it just won't output any signal to TV - neither with HDMI or Component cables.
I don't think it's YLOD as the light indicator doesn't beep or flashing, it just stays turned on, but no signal and controller can't seem to connect either.
Tried hard-resetting and entering recovery mode (2 beeps), but no luck. But it does respond to power button presses normally.
Any known fix for this or it's pretty much dead (upon googling I came across this GLOD issue which I've never heard of before - but the system itself doesn't shut off, just no signal)?
P.S: I did install a new HDD on it if that makes a difference, but as mentioned, it worked ok all this time
