PS3 PS3 Diagnostic clarification

I bought this USB to TTL:

I understand what points I need to solder the jumper wires to on the motherboard, however what I don't understand is how the other end of the wires from the ones coming from the motherboard are supposed to plug into the adapter that I got linked above.

What am I missing?

I am not sure how that is supposed to work either with the wires coming from the ones soldered onto the motherboard.

You don't use red wire. Black is gnd and white Tx I think or you will swap white with green when in software side get auth response 1.
This is same as my adaptors.
