PS3 Ps3 error code 8002f14e

I was going to jailbreak this device. I use PS3 toolset.com and let it run its thing. Before the point of flashing memory. Then I decide to update the console before the jailbreak Instead of flashing memory. During the update I got this error code and now I can't finish the update I am stuck in a update loop. Any advice?

Error code 8002F14E means there are some issues with your BD drive (maybe some loose cable, or maybe the daughterboard is broken).

In any case, if you didn't apply the flash memory patch you won't be able to install the noBD CFW version (which bypasses the BD drive checks).

Better get a working BD drive for your console model, in order to skip the update loop.
