PS3 PS3 Freezes because of Unknown reasons

My PS3 Freezes when: i am in MW3 and a match starts, It freezes when i login PSN in BO2. My PS3 freezes and crashes around while changing to DEX to CEX and reversed. I cant really remember what i did in the past. I tried reinstalling the games, new usb, copying into hdd and ssd. being said ssd and hdd i tryd reinstalling the cfw. i am currently using 4.91 evilnat (latest beta) phat PS3.

Sounds like a HDD issue. If you can, try installing a different working hard drive into ps3 and reinstall cfw using that hard drive. Install a game that was freezing and test it. If it works then you have a failing hard drive with the other one. If it freezes then its something else.

Is it only that one game freezing?

Its also freezing when converting cex to Dex or it converts and freezes when playing the game on cex and Dex?

Are you using mod menus or other mods?

Edit: You have HDD installed into ps3 and not ssd?

switching from dex to cex and dex to cex makes the ps3 go like, no video. you have to get into safe mode and restart system there and you can continue changing the kernel.

idk, like i said: ps3 freezes when match is starting in mw3. and bo2 freezes after login PSN.

Edit: You have HDD installed into ps3 and not ssd?

When i made this post, it was a SSD inside the PS3. Now i tried a HDD (same result).

Hey i found the solution to mw3 freeze fix. My PS3 Region was set on North America in Debug

how do i close this thread?
