PS3 ps3 freezing problem

my ps3 freeezes on the splash screen. ive watched many youtube tutorials on it, i even tried installing new firmware and reseting it multiple times but it didnt help. i dont think the problem is air flow, i clean the vents every once in a while.
any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance

Is it overheating issue? I have issue where my Ps3 fat over heats and shuts off because of that. But after it gets warm enough it doesnt over heat anymore maybe its also sensor or fan issue dont realy know.

i dont think its that, because it isnt hot at all. it doesnt get enough time to heat up, it freezes as soon as i power it on

Then it might be a sensor issue that the console thinks its overheating and the fans wont fanction properly because of this. The console shutsdown if it thinks its overheating

Did you ever find the culprit by chance? I'm trying to diagnose various freezing issues on a slim console of mine. I found a major conflict last night that seemed to be related to retroarch, webman, and 4.88 cfw. I'm still trying to pinpoint what's causing it, but it started immediately after installing retroarch for some reason. Webman was already installed.
