PS3 ps3 gta5 stuck at screen calabration does nothing when i press x

i just jailbroke my ps3 today and when i put a mod menu on for gta5 and opend the game it went to the screen calibration and asked me to press x. when i pressed x nothing happened. how can i fix this? the console is not freezing. i have tried starting the game and shutting off the controller before the game boots but it is too fast and i cannot shut off my controller in time.

first try a different controller if you can.

some mods require dex or certain versions of gta (like the euro version). they may also need a certain game update to work.

i dont know what gta 5 youre using but i use james reborn mod menu it works for blus disc version dont know nor do i care if it works online, i use it to mess around in story mode and it works fine for me (its an eboot and a rpf ?)

the one i was using is predator by zoex modz. there is an eboot file, a sprx file and a ini file but no rpf with it.

right now i am trying to delete all gta5 files and removing the mods, then running gta5 and putting the mods back on im going to try a different mod this time.

i figured it out i think, i got passed the screen resolution thing without any mods installed.
