Ps3 hdd unlock??

Hello forum I discover this link used to fix the xbox360 hdd ((using hex editor data analisys)) to enlargue or plug pc system hdd on xbox360.....
I think this is the same of ps3! the firmware block the hdd >1,5tb using hex codes of the hdd, and if we can edit this searched codes, and edit them the ps3 can be support largue hdd capacity...... what do you think forum?? I will try to analice the hdd uncompatible to search I need to patch them......

• In case of X360, limitation lie in whitelisting of HDD firmware, so de facto whitelisting specific HDD models. Similar security layer as in PSX HDD (DESRs models of course).
  
• In case of PS3, limitation lie in Sony shitcode responsible for HDD partitioning or maybe in addition even handling (no one yet partitioning PS3 HDD by hand on PC so we really don't know).

My intention is know what sectors read the ps3 when you plug the hdd (for the first time) (I think this sectors is DFA (disk firmware area) to locate this sectors and change the values to plug the hdd on ps3 with values changed and the ps3 format this hdd like compatible hdd..... you have any help info for this?? you have any information? you think this is possible?? im still waiting ps5 hdd 5TB internal, for the size of hdd i can mod the case, please do research how to run extra size hdd internal on ps3

@SANEX98 That needs some good reverse engineer to track how various of firmware components limiting size and when they checking it. It is full time job so don't expect that anytime soon if ever.

Both, PS3PT and UFS2, supporting drive sizes which not yet exist. So Sony put that limit intentionally.
