Hello friends,
Today, I come to you with a problem for which I need some insight. My precious 15-year-old PS3 is having an issue with its HDMI chip—it wasn't displaying any image. I bought a new chip and went through the process of replacing it. It took me some time, but I managed to do it!
However, the image now appears reddish and looks bad. Is this a defective chip? Or maybe it's the wrong chip for this model (CECH-2501A)? The original chip had the number MN8647091 109P31ER, while the new one has MN8647091 918PZ7421.
Thanks for your time, friends! Take care.
