Hello, I updated my coldboot with hen toolbox yesterday. Everything was fine since today. I turned on the console, click on enable hen then the browser opens and the hen logo now in the middle is not the round Standart one anymore, it turned into a green cube "Enable Hen[]" and freezes everytime i try to enable.
Yesterday I also tried to update the toolbox, but nothing happened. Maybe it's bcs of this?
I'm kinda new to ps3 modding, had a cfw back in 2016.
I hope my english is not thaaaat bad.
Thank you guys.

Reinstall HEN. Sounds like maybe you have swapped your category_game.xml to an older version. Maybe you have the wrong version of the Toolbox or something like that. It's not related to changing the coldboot logo.

Yes, i reinstalled hen now. It stwitched back to normal round logo. Was really weird i have the latest versions for all hen homebrews etc installed. Do you know where this logo file is placed in? And if, how its named?

In case you have WebMan installed, I'd suggest you to be careful about installing or uninstalling HEN. Also, HENToolBox causes a lot of issues to a lot of people, that's why I wouldn't recommend installing it. Try to enable HEN without being connected to the router with your PS3, go into settings, the last option, and disable the internet into the PS3. Then try enabling HEN. In case it freezes everytime (You should be careful about WebMan fan settings, in case you set them up). In case nothing works, going back to OFW, and then switching back to HEN could be the best solution.

Hentoolbox can't cause any issue to the system, and no, even if an issue occurs you can just install the HFW, there's no need to go back to OFW.

webMAN fan controll on hen has been fixed AFAIK ( the one if you set the fan to max, freezes the console), if you have any issues with plugins you can simple create a empty .txt file called boot_plugins.txt on a USB drive and plug it before enabling HEN.

Yeah, I think the main problem with HEN Toolbox is that people install the wrong version for their HFW version and end up with wrong HEN enabler JS. Other than that it cant really cause any issues afaik.

Does the offsets really changed that much between versions? i used to use the JS script without a FW declared in there ( FW==) and the same .bin in an old version of my XMB MOD, it worked without any issues in different FW versions, but then @esc0rtd3w told me to use the specific for each version, so i did, but i'm wondering what kind of issues it can lead?

I think making the JS without FW==XXXX would avoid this kind of issues.

I really dont know much about JS so not sure tbh. You might be right. AFAIK HEN 4.86 worked on 4.87 with just the version changed.
