Ps3 hen gamefolders

I want to get a new game but am not sure whether it will work, its a bles thing. I've done this before but am just curious because I don't want to make a mistake.there is some compatibility cfw2ofw list. Am not sure whether its about putting games in the multiman games folder method.
Please someone help me, I'd appreciate

all ps3 will play all ps3 games from all regions. just buy a disc. you can always redownload your digital purchases directly from the playstation store (it will even activate the license stuff automatically!).

the cfw2ofw list is for making backups from disc to run from ps3 hdd. ripping to iso (multiman will do it) is much more compatable.
