PS3 PS3 immediatelly gives me rlod after messing up with its psu. Did I fry my system?

Long story short, my ps3 was shutting off and giving me rlod in demanding games even though the temps werent high at all. My first thought was that the nec tokins are probably dying, and when my ps3 tries to run a tough game the necs just cant provide enough power. But, before I messed with them, I though id just try a different psu. I have dozens of them so I thought Ill just try. Grabbed a psu, swapped it with the one my ps3 already has and boom. The fuse blow and everything in my house turned off. I guess there was something shorting in the psu I put. Anyway, that was scary, so I put the psu my ps3 had before and now its giving me rlod immediatelly. I probably shouldnt even be asking this, but is my ps3 dead? Did I kill it?

Sounds like to me that it shorted inside and most likely further damaged the system and fried some components. Must've been a faulty psu or one not mean't for the system you put it in.

it was the same psu model. Well, guess Ill do a syscon diagnosis. But even that seems pointless.

Im not sure but from my experience even tho the ps3 hates brutal shutdown/fuses blown you should be safe BUT check the motherboard to be sure and if the fused blows well in fact that should have protected to board from frying
