PS3 PS3 Net Server Tutorial

My experience with PS3netserv has been awesome. I have a decent gigabit network setup with all certified CAT6 cabling. Streaming PSX/PS2/PS3 game backups hosted on my NAS is quick.

Make sure you have good networking equipment with decent cabling and your games are not on a slow hard drive and/or usb 2.0 external drive.
 
Is there a PS3 to PS3 netsrv guide anywhere? I am having issues with getting it to detect the other PS3. I am sure it is something simple I am missing.

No guide I know about.

On the serving ps3:
Is the Disable Net service checkbox unchecked in wMM setup?
Is the port beside it 38008?

On the receiving ps3:
Scan for LAN games is checked?
IP address of serving ps3 is correct?
Is the port beside the IP address 38008?

Optionally Disable Net service can be checked on the PS3 client, if not change the port to 38009 before saving so as not to broadcast on the same port.

Refresh html/xml on the client ps3 should give you the list of net0 accessible games.

The port can be changed but am sticking to default values for simplicity. [emoji6]

Thanks gonna look it once over tomorrow as I said I am sure I did something slightly off but I got the PC side working great.

Just in case, you should update to version 1.43.33 because there was a ps3netsrv build that didn't work properly recently.

You can get all the latest files in the source code zip from github.com/aldostools/webMAN-MOD/releases/tag/1.43.33

Once you are sure that all files are good, you can check your configuration to begin with.

Is everything in order in webMAN-MOD setup.?
Did you check the ps3netsrv scan content checkbox, put in the correct IP address from server + port number?

Afterwards you must use refresh Xml to list your games...

Also you need to make sure that communication is not blocked by Firewall, AV or router.

ps3netsrv give error missing file libstdc++-6.dll?
 
Honestly the 1 or 3 words answers are not really helping us help you...

"It's not working" means nothing to anyone, we cannot guess what's going on...
If you want us to solve your problem, you have to describe it right, with details...

Now that the dll are not the problem anymore, what is the problem now?
