No, is not going to change after a firmware reinstallation
I guess you have found a "bug" because either way... if you had the system language in english ...or... in portuguese... it should not be sentences merged from different languages in XMB

And in your screenshot you had the word "game" in english and "meus jogos" in portuguese displayed together
So there is some sentence merged in the language xml files (inside an rco)

You are going to need to wait for luantelles to take a look at where is the problem

In the meantime you can change language to english-UK (instead of english-US) or the other way around, there are just a few differences

Wait, if you was thinking in reinstalling the custom firmware you had before.... yes this should solve it
Sorry, i did read your message wrong, i thought you was asking about reinstalling this PS3 PRO MOD

But dont panic... i think is not worthy to reinstall firmware, wait a bit for luantelles

Are you sure u Installed the ENGLISH VERSION, because the portuguese one is only available in the portuguese options LOL

There are two packs, one with the INSTALLER IN PORTUGUESE, AND OTHER IN ENGLISH.

In both of them they have the PORTUGUESE AND THE ENGLISH options to choose, and the Default one is at the top of it's respective language pack.

Just run the installer again and make sure to select ENGLISH

I have reinstalled PS3 Pro with exactky ENGLISH chosen, but menu still remain "Menus Jogos"
My system use English US

about the Last folder retro rom spinning is because by mistake i add my list of games on it, jut rescan ur content and it will be gone.

The installation time is because ur are in a phat console, the installer is slow in NAND consoles.

Good Evening ok so i too have that extra roms folder except i have retro roms and would like to use that setup so how do i go about setting them up by emulator and how can i one click load them like ps3 games where you click the game and it auto loads or atleast mounts the game thanks in advance keep up the great work enjoy your evening
 
i saw someone has the coldboot PS3 Pro, and the bottom line is "Its Only Does Everything"
dunno exactly keywords to find on Youtube, but i really like it.
p/s: if this come from Luanteles, please bring back the "Pro" only ver. i dont like the 4k one.

Oh i see ! u can find it in older versions at the main page

but as i told you before, there are the PRO version and the 4K PRO. u can choose it from the installer
