ps3 setting corrupted

i was using ps3 as normal and a day i got blue screen that settings are corrupted press x to continue i press didnt work then i restore default from safe mode after few days i got same so i tried to install ofw but now im unable to do anything, same error i tries to re-install software but it gets a loop, normally it should restart on its own but it stucks in black screen i think it not getting install properly, is there a way to fix this, many guys having this problem. please help me out thanks!

When i press x it laggs and nothing happens i tried formatting the hdd via pc tried different usb, ps3 working properly in safe mode and till boot logo and epilepsy warning. any solution please help i love zombies on ps3 as compare to ps4. for bo2

Which PS3 model is it ?
The PS3 models with NAND flash type preserves the xregistry.sys file even after replacing/formatting the hdd... and that file sometimes is problematic

Or maye is because your hdd have serious problems, the easyest way to check it is by using a different hdd

Use a new one or if you have any working HDD laying around, you can use that too.

Ps3 will ask to format it, select yes. After that, it will ask you to install FW, download latest HFW and place it on a usb drive. Connect the usb to ps3 and install it.
