PS3 PS3 Slim [2504B] shuts down seconds after turn on

Hi,
I have a problem with my PS3 which I got for free.
When connected to the power supply, the console shows a red LED, after pressing the switch it turns on for 2-3 seconds (the fan starts) and then turns off.
The WiFi module was completely desoldered from the console by the previous owner.

Sometimes the console starts for 30 seconds but display stays off.
The HDD LED also lights up.

I tried warming up the GPU and CPU to see if either of them was the problem, but the symptoms remained the same.
I also changed the power supply, but it didn't help either.

The motherboard model is: JSD-001

Thank you for your help :)

Any ideas?

The console won't start if you don't have the WiFi/BT module.
I contacted the previous owner and the console also had the same problems even when the wifi/BT module was still soldered.
He decided to remove the module because he read that it may be the cause of the entire problem.
Also, looking through other threads with more or less similar symptoms, I don't think that the lack of a WiFi module causes the console to turn off after a few seconds.

No PS3 console will boot without the WiFi/BT module, no exceptions. A damaged module is not the same as the whole module missing.

The fact that the previous owner removed it proves that the WiFi/BT module was damaged (there is no reason to remove it in the first place), maybe shorted some contacts or even got blown along with other components.

The only way to diagnose the console properly is via SYSCON.

Is it possible to "jump" the WiFi/BT module by soldering selected paths on the motherboard together?
To connect to syscon, I need to buy an adapter, will it be compatible?

Could be, but there are many solder pads and you must take in consideration resistance/capacitance in between, if there is any.

As long as it's an USB UART-TTL adapter, it should be enough.

Here is a thread on everything to know about diagnosing with SYSCON: https://www.psx-place.com/threads/f...syscon-first-steps-and-error-reporting.30100/

I test the temperatures on my cecha/b I often don't install the wifi/bluetooth modules and they boot fine.
