PS3 PS3 slim no power no light

Hey guys i just got a ps3 slim that was missing the hdmi and its IC wihich i replaced but since the beginning it didnt have any light or power and i did change the PSU and through Syscon i can turn it on and off but theres no light or action through the power button (i used another slims power button and cable as well) and also i get a (FATAL) XDR Link not initilized error,could it be that ?

There should be only two XDRs on the Slim?You can try reball. Josh at Cok001 tested you can mix different brands XDR.

Ok ill try that thanks but is the no light on the power button coming from that or theres some power ICs dead as well that i gotta check ?

no not at all i can only turn it on and off using the uart theres no light and nothing happens when i press the power button and i swapped the psu and also the power button and still no light in standby

Can you hear the beep sound when you press the switch? If you can connect the uart, it means the 5v is working and it shouldn't be a big problem.

no beep or sound when i press the switch but it turns on when i connect uart and give the syscon bringup command

I guess the syscon isn't picking up the action from the switch, maybe there's something wrong with the flex cable or the switch board?

I'm not sure what model of Slim you have, as there are no service manuals for any of them. Currently I only have a circuit diagram of the syscon connected to the switch board, which I think will suit your needs.

Unfortunately, there is no schematic for this model, you can check the link I posted and measure whether there is 5v voltage on pin 2, or whether there is communication when pressing the switch.
