I was wondering if anyone got around to making the ps3 slim be able to play ps2 games online yet? I play resident evil outbreak online and I finally jb my ps3 slim but I know it won't be able to get online due to it not being a bc ps3, I was wondering if any of the devs created a way to play ps2 games online on the slim yet

ps2netemu (ps2 classics emulator, the one used in all non backwards compatible ps3s) doesn't have support for dev9 as far as i know (aka the ps2 network adapter/hdd combo). The only games i know make use of network capabilities on ps3 are socom and final fantasy xi, maybe some other obscure japanese game too but i'm not sure, and only using backwards compatible consoles. This info might be wrong though, i'd suggest waiting for someone else to chime in

Is right, as far i know socom had an online mode not dependant of official servers, and final fantasy xi was very popular in japan as an online gaming service, it was like the ancestor of the actual PSN :D

Ok, I guess I'll wait until later down the line for something to happen. Also, theres resident evil outbreak file 1 & 2 on private servers and .hack fragment also yall should check it out obsrv.org and fragment.dothackers.org/
