Hey i happen to have a super slim 12go, there's still no hard drive in it (used it to read blurays). Can i install hen on it without any issues? How exactly will this work? I hardly found anyone mentioning this specific model.

If it is the model with the built in flash storage it works fine with HEN. I do suggest getting a drive or an external as you won't be able to load but one game and only small ones at that.

All PS3 are HEN compatible.

12GiB models have internal eMMC. It probably uses VHDD in the same way as VFLASH on NOR models. So what normally is written to HDD, in those models is written to eMMC (until user put HDD to the slot, then it will be asked which storage You want to use; if You choose HDD, then all user data from eMMC will be copied or moved).

He could use Webman and PS3Net then you can have unlimited games that is what I do.

Works great provided he has a network to do that. I have a NAS on mine which is great as no file system limitations. But only works for PS1/PS3 games.

Well i do intend to add a hard drive inside, by the way would a 1to ps4 hard drive works? And it's cover too? I've read that it would, just want to hear a confirmation.

Thank you for your answers. My main concern was the eMMC that might steps on the hard drive. So basically once there's an hard drive added to the console the flash drive becomes irrelevant and all data are transferred to the hdd?
