Ps3 super slim error can not found reason

Hi. Im newbie here, my ps3 super slim have more 6 months not use. Yesterday i have free time so i bring him back to play but it not run, only red light and no display anything, by research i still dont know this error by power source or vga chip, anyone know pls help me fix it.. thanks

Hi, if it is blinking you probably face the red light of death. YouTube has some fixing tutorials (maybe look at the comments, too). Looks like you probably have to disassemble the console, so if planning to do it on your own, you should have some thermal paste around to replace the old one (you should do this every time you open up that cpu/gpu clamp). I did not look very closely, but it seems the process of fixing the red light of death involves heating the chips on the motherboard, maybe with a hair dryer or something.

i got a superslim with that problem (continuous red light)going once by holding in the power button down
for about half a minute without the power cable attached.
not sure if that's a thing or i was just lucky, but what the hell!
