PS3 PS3 superslim eMMC upgrade?

I'm curious if anyone tried donors that are bigger than 12GB. 32GB maybe?
Like laptop donors if necessary.

Nope. so far what i know is not yet possible. the upgrade is installing the Hdd in its cage. then the emmc is not in use.

In assumption PS3 would accept that hw, it is pointless for another reason: you will not get that empty space without reorganizing stuff (editing partition table(s), moving cache partition and expanding user partition), which means you need decryption key(s). But we currently don't know how to get it/them.

Yeah unfortunately however if said keys are found maybe a Frankenstein can be done in theory.
