PS3 Ps3 turns off after 3 seconds with red lights and and when it manages to boot HDD stops working.

I have had this tragic problem for at least a year, currently it has not been causing much of a problem to date.
The problem comes when the console manages to boot, the HDD makes this horrible mechanical click and turns off again. I have tried removing the HDD and turning on the console and it starts up, but after that, when I turn it on without the HDD and as soon as the warning screen appears, the console turns off without sound or flashing light.
any solution???

Change the HDD or use SYSCON logs in order to see which component is failing in the boot chain.
