PS3 PS3 whitout thermal pads?

Hello, I would like to know what could happen if I lost any of the thermal pads.
A week ago I changed the thermal paste of my PS3 Slim and a few days later I found one of the thermal pads lying on the floor.
The console has excellent temperatures, but would I have to put that thermal pad?

Maybe your PS3 works excellent, but I would replenish missing thermal pads on the motherboard - engineers and designers didn't put them here for no reason.

As far as I see, this PS3 model has got DYN-001 motherboard. On the youtube I see that this PS3 model has got three thermal pads: (7) PS3 Slim Teardown & Assembly - YouTube
I cannot find the scheme on the internet where precisely these thermal pads are placed, but I would follow this video above and I think you can easily navigate missing places for thermal pads. When it comes to its thickness - I think it should be 1mm.
