Hi all!
Tonight I upgraded my PS3 HFW to 4.91 and everything went perfect. After that, I installed HEN from the web site using the auto installer. Installation went perfect until the moment of rebooting where the PS3 didn't start up.
Fun fact here, sometimes the fan went crazy during like a minute or so and then went normal RPM.
I tried to connect the HDD to PC and format it. This went flawless since I was able to reinstall 4.91 HFW, get the PS3 alive again and being able to install HEN again which this went without problems. Besides, I restarted the PS3 to check everything was right.
My surprise today is I'm trying to play Max Payne 3, pressed the start button in my PS3 and... again the fan crazy as shit and not booting up.
Here I am, formatting again the HDD with the 4.91 HFW in a USB drive ready to reinstall again.
Anyone knows why I'm having this problems? Am I doing anything wrong? Should I try something different?
Edit: Another interesting data, I'm not able to access recovery mode when PS3 is in this "state"
