PS3 PS3 Ylod Repair services

Hi there, I'm new here and I decided to join because my old ps3 fat had a ylod two days ago and was looking for someone who could suggest a repair service that could help me get my ps3 working again. I recently heard about a ps3 frankenstein mod with a 40nm RSX and was immediately interested, sadly it's something out of my league that I'm unable to do, so that's why I'm asking for help to find someone who can do it for me, preferably in Europe since I'm from Italy. Thanks in advance and also sorry for my bad english.

Italian postal service will destroy the board.

If its non backwards compatible model, it's not worth saving. You can always ask guys who repair PC, and tell them what to do.

It's a CECHC04, so even though it isn't 100% backwards compatible, I can play most of my ps2 games flawlessly. However I was also thinking to homebrew a ps3 slim and emulate ps2 games from there, from what I've seen there are minor differences compared to my model.

PS3 cechc04 or cecha is the only HDMI solution to play ps2 games flawlessly. Unless your TV supports RGB scart or component. I would choose component since it's easier to calibrate video for.

PS2 fat + component cable + hdd adapter, cheaper option than searching for donor board and technician.
