I never had any issue with HEN in my case (SS CECH-4001B). I once had the 2.2.2 version and everything worked perfectly (nothing wrong with all backup managers Multiman, Webman Mod 1.47.23 and Irisman). I just wanted to uninstall HEN because I'm afraid of online gameplay, so I'm sticking to HAN until online services for some games are ceased. In case you all keep experiencing issues while enabling HEN exploit or when opening Multiman and bla bla, just delete Multiman and have Webman and Irisman only, OR, delete HEN until further significant updates.

Someone with Multiman black screen issue can try the manual fan option on webman mod? Change option, shutdown, restart, enable hen, open multiman.
For me this Fixed MM black screen for now... i make further test
 
Hi, I wanted to expose my experience here.
My PS3 Slim mod. 3004A 4.84.2 HFW Theme REBUG @Berion
HEN 2.3.1 Webman MOD 1.47.24.2 LITE webman theme REBUG
MULTIMAN 4.82 @Joonie with theme matrix and hypnotic installed
Managunz, Irisman, with the fix of @Joonie
HEN toolbox installed with HENbrewstore
More things installed obviously ...
In 2 hours of testing, going out and entering the different launchers I had 0 restart, it has loaded faster HEN and I have noticed faster access by ftp when Webman MOD is active. But I have had problems when I started to mount my backups and unmount, and then enter Multiman there the black screens start.
Conclusion, for HEN users I think it is better that you install the LITE version of Webman MOD it seems that it gives less black screens and freezes.I hope someone helps you. regards

Are u using Lite Edition?
 
I can pass a video to prove it. I am not a liar, also at no time I told you it was the solution, it's just my experience. Regards

Same thing here... i reinstalled latest toolbox and it works fine now! If it disappears you have just to reinstall it... for other problem I don't know
 
with latest patch 2.3.1, xmb/package manager would not load pkg from USB.
I also had to remove HEN toolbox (stopped working even after reinstall, maybe it stopped xmb/package manager working)
HEN store i also removed because its not updating available homebrews (it seem to be abandoned)

I eventually had to do a HD wipe, HFW install and latest HEN install to get xmb/package manager working again. (after trying database rebuilds etc)

I can use latest webman 1.47.24.2 and multiMAN..

If i install irisMAN, i get black screens starting it with above installed, so irisMAN is defunct for now..

IRISMAN 4.84.5 works fine here with the latest PS3HEN 2.3.1 + wMM 1.47.24

Can you check these two things as well? And one last thing try DeanK's standard webMAN not aldos webMAN mod. See if this helps at all.

When I activate the "HEN-2.3.1" on my PS3 CECH-4204C I have this message that appears:
- "Could not resolve update host!"; the HEN is still activated, I can launch my games via the WebMAN. I say that this message appears almost immediately if the network is disabled in the PS3 or, if it is active, via Ethernet (cable) on a 1 Gb switch that allows me to connect the PS3 to computers on the network. The WiFi connection only serves me for updates to the HEN at the moment.

Is this message normal?
Does it indicate a possible concern?
