PLEASE HELP!
I have PS3 Slim 3008. I install HFW 4.84.2, after then i install HEN. It works, but every time I activate HEN, (Enable HEN) it starts downloading and installing the file "Latest_hen_installer_signed.pkg" again and again. I already tried to clean the browser, reinstalled HFW and HEN, but nothing helps. And I met a few more people who faced this problem after upgrading to version 2.3.1.

An so called fix will be disconnecting the wifi/internet.

After enabling HEN, you can connect to internet again.

Guys just a quick question, when installing homebrew is it recommended to sign the pkg with exploit resigner or leave it as is?

Resigning PKG is only for PS3HAN users. On PS3HEN you don't need to resign the PKG.

If I convert to dex ofw files and change the current bin hen to this one, can I use the dex debug setting in hen?

Hello, I have a question regarding HEN Update. I have HEN Enabled already but there's no "Hybrid Firmware Tools" on the XMB's Network Column. So I cannot either view which version of HEN am I on, or update HEN to latest version. So,

1. Is there any way to view which version of HEN on my system ? I have multiman running normally, if it helps ?

2. If I want to update by using USB, should I just copy the latest HEN pkg to the /packages folder on my flash drive and install as a normal pkg using XMB's Package Manager ?

1. you need to be on v2.3.1 to get the version notification and theres also a notification if a new HEN is available as well.

2. just use the HFW Tools to update your HEN, you will only need the USB installation if something else doesnt goes right. For updating just run the updater and your done (requires internet connection on ps3).

Thanks for the quick reply. But as I mentioned above there's no HFW Tools on XMB that I can find... So I guess the only route is via USB right ? And there's no way to view which version of HEN on my system ? Is it mentioned in any log file on the system ? I can use multiman to browse it then

The only way is updating hen by USB (ROOT OR dev_usb***/packages) or FTP (dev_hdd0/packages).
**Reinstalling HEN doesn't hurt at all. The files get overwritten so you can safely install the latest version.

Is it possible to run NTSC iso PS1 games in 60 fps on PS3 Slim PAL with HEN? On my second European PS3 Slim with CFW Rebug with Cobra 8.1 NTSC PS1 games run perfectly in 60 fps, but HEN reduces frame rate to 50, then the sound stutters and the gameplay slows down.

Oh, Nevermind! BTW I hope there will be feature to that convert CEX to DEX by using eid_root_key!
As I remembered it was possible use DEX on HAN! Years before it's wasn't possible run these hot homebrews and even not using mods in CECH-3XXX and CECH-4XXX models and you Devs did magic by releasing HEN in this year!
I hope this feature available in future soon, keep hard working Devs <3

They're working constantly on making HEN better but right now I don't think everyone has time to be active on HEN development as they have their own private life...

No, just install HFW then use one of the auto installer links, make sure to set it as homepage, then close and re-open the browser.

What's your stable setup ? Please give your reports because i'm sick and tired of freezes

Even without plugins i get ransom freezes , and the console does not shut down properly , it just blinks green forever .

One thing is sure .. 2.3.1 + Webman Mod + Psnpatch = impossible

Are the freezes due to Webman Mod ? I read that you can use the regular Webman but you need to edit category_game.xml . Does anyone have that edited category_game.xml ?
