The only problem I have with 2.2.1 is problem with multiMAN, that give black screen after launch it, then I should plug out my AC Power cable. Yesterday I run it but today even I can't open!! Because I wanted use FTP Connection

I was able to use ftp connection just enabling HEN 2.1.1. No need to start multiman.
I didn't test it on 2.2.1 yet

I know we can not demand anything and I will not do it, it's just an opinion ... this is the worst update of the HEN, the icons are horrible, previously they adapted perfectly to the PS3 interface, but now they look horrible, and the worst everything, that damn and stupid coldboot, if at least it was optional (if it is please someone tell me, I would thank them forever) anyway, I will continue version 2.1.1 ...

Changing coldboot is easy, just put the coldboot you like in dev_rewrite/vsh/resource/explore/

If you want the stock coldboot I can give it or you can copy the stock coldboot from the 2.1.1 version!

Yes, you are correct but it is possible to add HaN toolbox back or you can wait for HEN TOOLBOX! You'll need to replace a XML to get Han toolbox (What features from it do u use?)

Dude..just change the themes (Update it first) inside the hen tools...

For those of you who want the original coldboot back here is the original. Just install pkg, or extract the pkg and install manually dev_rewrite/vsh/resource

Edit: This pkg will only work on HEN 2.2.1 and higher. Because earlier versions of HEN used dev_blind and now it uses dev_rewrite. If you extract the pkg and install manually the files will still work with earlier versions of HEN.

IMHO, they are doing their best. They don't receive any salary for this so we can't ask for a finished product. They're dedicated to developement and we must test it and share our expreriences to improve it. We must be polite and give thanks for what we have, what's much more than Sony gave us after paying hundreds of $ for the Ps3

Exactly, I didn't complained about Devs work, I should thank for their work but if there's something wrong with Hen, I will say what's wrong in the updates!

I am on CEX SS 4004C with installed HEN 2.2.1 When I restore HEN 2.1.1 I got something like Connected from 0.0.0.0, Host name and IP addres 192.168.0.6 on the right down corner. I want to ask what cause this. I am trying to restore my PS3 now and complete format my HD from PS3 restore system. I want to go back like from 0 and then try to install HFW and HEN from begining.

You can actually replace that coldboot quite easily selecting another theme under Hybrid Firmware Tools or from the ps3xploit web

Dude, stop posting the same thing over and over again. Just wait. Since you've provided no information, the only thing I can suggest is trying to disable you internet connection before enabling hen to see if it helps since it seems to be causing issues with multiman for some people.

If you want additional help, give more info. How did you install it? Which version did you install? Which ps3 model do you have? Did you have an older version installed before, if so, which one? Which addons do you have installed? etc.

if new hen 2.2.1 install on your ps3
before installing you have to delete hen folder from ps3's dev_hdd0:\hen\ hen folder using file explorer
may be helpful for your ps3
and also may be stop freeze when enable hen
