hello to everyone my console is bricked after installing the PS2 Launcher REBUG Edition.pkg I try to turn it on but it turns off again someone can help me ??
 
hmmm tested Multiman to copy games via FTP to the internal HDD and I was so slow, although the internal HDD is SSD !! any alternatives ?

Do you succeed in running PS2 games?
Now I can run PS2 games successfully.

Problem: ManaGunz modifies the PS2 emulator files and it yields in PS2 Classic unplayable, when it mounts PS2 ISO.
Solution: I replace the files modified by ManaGunz in dev_blind/ps2emu with the correct files.

These are the files: ps2_emu.self, ps2_gxemu.self and ps2_netemu.self. I got the files inside HENTAI.pkg HEN v1.0.2.

Hi. I know it does not come to the subject but I have a doubt. Does the ps3xpad plugin work for ps3 generic joysticks that need bluetooh / wifi adapter to work? I have a LevelUp joystick that connects via wifi adapter to the ps3. But the adapter is broken and the factory joystick doesnt working with usb to ps3

yeah i got it running by installing HFW, then HAN, then HEN then loading the game with Webman then PS2 Classic launcher

Must of had the same issue with ManaGunz just didn't know it ... the more you know
 
Guys i respect the troubleshooting and the helping, but i think the community can hear more from you. Opinions, thoughts, whatever.

i.e. What's next with PS3HEN ? Or what's missing to reach CFW ? Or whatever else you are bothered with.

I would even watch/listen to a video/recording with all of you discussing the technical stuff, idk, i am an accountant, everything else besides my job seems interesting to me.
 
How to update directly from 2.0.0 to 2.0.2??

I tried install pkg and it just give me error xxxxx9563

I just missed the 2.0.1 update and the file gone, so....


Edit : nevermind, i just download this and offline update work fine

Yes, you can.
Just encrypt a compatible PS2 ISO with PS2 Classic GUI to *.BIN.ENC and put it in dev_hdd0/PS2ISO.
Install PS2 Classic Placeholder R3 and put the rap file in dev_usb000/exdata.
Use webMAN MOD to mount the game and run the PS2 Classic Placeholder.
TIP: Create a PS2 Memory Card and put it in a slot before playing.

I read that rebug toolbox doesn't work with hen, so you may have to choose one of the other apps. a direct connection would be faster though. you can get around 10MB/s, so it only takes a few minutes to transfer over a 20GB file.

also, the ps3 doesn't like it when you transfer over a lot of small files. it can cause the ftp to lose its connection, and afaik, the only way to fix it is to restart the system. it's good for large files though like packages. I'd suggest keeping a copy of each package you install on your computer instead of game files (if you're not using iso). I did keep a backup of my old internal hdd, and I manually transferred around 100,000 files, and I lost connection several times. it might've skipped over some files too, so now I just keep a backup of my games, home directory (saves, licenses), a NOR backup, xregistry, etc.
 
Why does the playstation store logo and psn logo doesn't turn red? is ps3 hen 2.0.2 removed the red logo? (EDIT) is this only happen to me or anyone else?
