After many tries and experiment I HAVE TO CONFIRM THAT:
WebMan Mod causes BLACK SCREEN with other HomeBrews
even the last version 1.47.24

Weird, i was going to ask everyone who had trouble with WMM to try the latest version because it seems to be working fine for me now. The previous few versions caused a lot of compatibility issues with most of the homebrews i intalled but 1.47.24 is working proper so far.

Try to remove any kind of media inserted like USB and/or PS3 game disc. Multiman works well, but note that it's still hit and miss.

The simplest way (for now) is to remove webman. I've tried on 2 different ps3. for now no black screen for many tries.

Anyway this is my BUG REPORT . i appreciate the work of the devs .

I think that we should waitin' for HEN updates. Fed up with those blackscreens and homebrew run are hit and miss.

Ran multiman some 10-15 times i got one blackscreen. But this time i am keeping WMM, the main gripe i had with previous version was not being able to take screenies and genesis crashing on retroarch, need genesis for some good ol nostalgic couch coop fun with my buds on the big screen. Since those two work now ill just keep it and mount games from WMM instead of Multi.

Are you using PS3HEN 2.3.0? If not, wait until it's released. It fixes most of the black screen issues with webMAN.

If you have a PS3 controller charging in a USB port, unplug it. That can cause occasional black screens.

If you experience black screens loading IRISMAN, try removing /dev_hdd0/game/IRISMAN00/USRDIR/settings.ini and settings_default.ini or edit them to not auto-load webMAN (remove the path of webftp_server.sprx)

Guys, whats best way to play PS2 games on HEN?

1- Buy the PS2 Classic from PSN
2- Convert the PS2ISO to PS2 Classic (.BIN.ENC) using PS2 Classic GUI

Or get a cheap PS2 console with free games on ebay and use FMCB
If you have a decent PC, use PCSX2

still i don't see how's multiman and retroarch let alone a core related.webman can understand as it's a plugin and it's running whole time,but still don't get how it would mess up retroarch.

I have no clue either I am just a pleb downloading whats posted here and trying it out. It used to crash when webman was installed. Like i said ...Genesis core is working with the latest WMM installed.

I moved the activation of hen to the category _psn and it was faster without freezing ,

no, I just moved the xmb_plugin of the debug settings

Is there any way to run HEN 2.2.2 WITHOUT the need of a USB drive? I couldn't find a HDD install for that version and I'm concerned about the USB drive overheating or going out, plus I don't wanna have to have it plugged in every time I got to load HEN to use RetroArch or PSX ISOs.
