I was surprised by the fluency of version 2.3.0 and I have not had a black screen so far, all the developers have a great job if they have problems with the 2.3.0 reinstall everything from scratch, since that's what I did

Optional : If you update the toolbox after reinstalling it, it will add back the nicer looking enabler.

It will also fix the duplicate icon/slow loading bug on the ingame xmb.

Trying to run HEN 2.3.0 from USB (not installed on USB, just PS3HEN.BIN file on the flash drive) I always get this behavior: First time I try to run HEN it fails then the console reboots with 'HEN failed' message in red. If i try to run it again the PS3 freezes. This doesn't happen with 2.2.2.

I made sure I used the correct file from developers files. I also tried BIN file from normal release.

EDIT: In short. If the console is offline, HEN crashes.

To enable HEN via USB you need to make sure the usb is plugged in, in the dev_usb000 (closest to bd drive). Also you'll need to be connected to a router or some kind of connection to host the usb version HTML!

Il me semble urgent d'attendre une correction du HEN v2.3.0 !!!
Je viens de faire l'installation de ce nouveau HEN par dessus mon HEN v2.2.2 lui même installé sur un DD formaté via PC puis par la PS3 et je constate qu'aucune connexion n'est possible via le réseau LAN, cela bloque la console (CECH-2404C).
Il m'est aussi impossible d'accéder à la configuration du WMM-1.47.24, la console se bloque et seul le bouton I/O permet de la faire stopper normalement.
sMAN a-t-il les même problèmes/soucis ???

It seems urgent to me to wait for a correction of HEN v2.3.0 !!!
I just installed this new HEN over my HEN v2.2.2 itself installed on a DD formatted via PC and then the PS3 and I see that no connection is possible via the LAN, it blocks the console (CECH-2404C).
I also can not access the configuration of WMM-1.47.24, the console hangs and only the I/O button allows it to stop normally.
Does sMAN have the same problems / concerns ???

Please anybody suggest something.....i need help in the following problem+
1. i installed 4.82.2 hfw that installed perfectly no problem ....i do it twice for clean installation
2.This is where the problem start i successfully Initialise HAN Installer it also turns to green ......then i Launch HAN Installation.....freeze my console every time i tried 30 times .....i tried clear cookies delete everything in browser ......

My main question why my ps3 freezes every time why it is not restart itself when i click on launch han installation

I'd say that was just a coincidence that it did not work for you until you activated. Activation is not required for HEN installation.

Its true, For some games you might need to be activated, but that is a separate issue really and not related to HEN installation or homebrew use.

I was affected by the Internet not connected bug. I know how to use self-hosted HTML and enable HEN from USB. Thanks anyway for the info.
