You mean via the USB? I do have it on my flash drive already, but like I said: It was hanging/frozen. I haven't deleted the .jpg yet to see if it processes. When I try the site, it'll throw up an error about not being able to find certain segments after the initial segment was found. So I'm not sure if that is the same thing stopping the USB update.
 
hello esc0rtd3w I noticed a difference in the screenshot feature
between issuance hen 4.88 and 4.89
4.89 It got so bad that I couldn't take a picture completely
What is the problem or am I just facing this problem

Just Install it like any other package using package manager

Idk anything about the screenshot tool. Maybe some changes from 4.89 are causing problems, but what really changed? Have to look into it.

I don't have that .png, much less /icon/ in the files, according to multiman.

I *did* somehow get HEN to enable to 3.1.1. However now in the XMB the trophy or PSN store-like "PS3/PS" icon (gray logo to designate what the game is supposed to originally release on) is now stretched and to the bottom left when hovering over games on the XMB. Which is weird.

Just download the release pkg and install it. It will fix those issues.

I'm not sure I understand. The .me site has HFW 4.89 latest-signed-hen which enables the update to 3.1.1 but I don't see a firmware update file there. Even with the "download release files." Either I'm completely forgetting how to update the HFW (or what you mean to fix the visual glitch), but I thought the process was like OFW where you'd put a firmware flash on the USB and then use the system update function to do that. If that's the case, I don't see a HFWupdate.pbp in the release files.
 
my friend brought a console for me to have a look at,4.86 with HEN that had a bit of a crash.
i've updated it to 4.88 HFW and installed HEN,but i'm not sure if it's lost it's activation,so
1.is it possible to install HEN without activation? i thought it was required to install HEN.
2.if it is possible,should act.dat be in dev_hdd0/home/one of the user folders/exdata with the.rif files?
sorry,its been a few years since i poked about in the file manager and cant remember where everything should be.
my console is still fine,still enjoying HEN!

Hi Guys!

I would like to ask how to run the hen so that it freezes less frequently? My second question is why does the hen freeze more often when I set the fan control in the webman mod settings to automatic instead of syscon?
 
my PS3 just tried to update to a really dodgy looking HEN version (20.1.something i think.)when i enabled it.
it downloaded but the update failed,PS3 and HEN functions seem fine so far.will disconnect wifi until i find out if its you guys or not.

EDIT:disabling HEN auto update in HFW tools works also,wifi back on.

Hey OneManArmy here. Is it possible to change the coldboot_multi.ac3 & coldboot_stereo.ac3 with HEN? Because currently I'm dealing with a problem in FileZilla and MM. Both tools are unable to delete the files and I'd like to change the sound. I hope the information I provided is enough for you guys to be able to help me.
