Im having a total blonde moment.

Ive just setup a new computer and in the process of reinstalling everything. Gone to use PUAD and getting errors, I'm sure its related to the ps3keys and seem to rememer having to modify the files to make the program work on newer FWs.

anyone any ideas?

iirc you need to copy the latest key set in the toolset and make a key set for the firmware version you are trying to modify. eg take 4.87 keys and copy/label them as 4.88 keys etc. been a LONG TIME since i worked with puad though. i know scetool has this same problem, but copying relabeling keys as the latest version usually fixes the problem

Thanks for the reply. its been ages since i first set it up. All up and running again now.
Reminder to sel... dont swap PCs ever again, the amount of prograsm and stuff to setup again after years of having them on a system is just crazy

the best thing you can do is make a virtual environment in hyperv (or whatever you choose to use for VM solutions)that is stored on an external hdd. that way migrating from OS to OS is easy af
