PS3xPAD on HEN?

I was just wondering if anyone had experience with this plugin being used on HEN. Is there any risk of bricking my console? I'm at my wits end with 3rd party controllers. I have my Xbox One controller I'd like to use for just PS3 games (I'm ok with the crappy 3rd party controllers for PS2 / PSX titles.)

For the record, I've hung back on HEN 2.1.0 for all this time. I'm assuming the plugin would work the same regardless of my HEN version. Just wanted to be sure there's someone else out there on HEN who's used this plugin successfully (specifically for the Xbox One controller.) and if they could explain how to get it set up.

Did some searching and found seldom answers.

it says need dex kernal for native mode and need debug eboots for some games so im assuming most features wont work with hen.

maybe custom mode with xbox controller will work on hen but im not sure.

Appreciate your response. I'll wait and see if anyone else on HEN has gotten this plugin to work. Not sure how I'd go about configuring everything honestly, no clue about "debug eboots" or anything related to the system kernel. Have never used a boot plugin and have heard some can cause soft-bricks or something, least on HEN.

webman is a boot plugin!

if you have trouble with boot plugins on hen do this:
put empty file named boot_plugins.txt on usb.
put in usb slot closest to bdvd drive.
enable hen.

that will stop all plugins from running when hen starts. then you can edit the boot_plugins.txt file on ps3 hdd to remove a plugin that is causing problems. webman wont start when you do this but if you remove the usb (or just the file on it) webman will start next time you enable hen.

be sure to delete the empty file on usb when done!
