Ps3Xploit Dump and writer question

Do i need to dump the nor before writing the exploit? Or is it just to backup the nor to restore later if needed?

i would recommend you to dump the nor then write the nor and check it with a tool on pc named pyps3checker because theres a chance to brick it

Yeh thats what i was thinking to do, I had an e3 flasher, so i know a little but how it works

The dump you take before running the exploit is basically a backup just in case.
The dump after you run the exploit and before rebooting is the important one because at this point if something is wrong you can still fix it without needing a flasher.
