PS3 HAN Ps3Xploit opens possibilities for modded ps2 games as well as ps3 games

I recently saw a thread demonstrating how to get modded game files on a HAN enabled ps3 so it got me wondering about my days modding the ps2. I used to play modded disc images of GTA San Andreas on my modded ps2 so it gave me the idea to track down some old disc images I used to play and attempt to get them working in the ps2 classics packages. However I am currently On wifi therefore cannot transfer the over 4gb files. Once I get my tower running I will attempt to find a way to get the files to load fully on the ps3 But in the meantime if it would work I feel there are many more possibilities on what it can load other than official images. Maybe even possible workarounds for old ps2 homebrew If we where to recode some old ones to support the ps3 we may make it a step further.


I apoligize if this is the incorrect place and that I am not making much sense but I feel I should share this information.
 
well yeah, it is possible, I even used on my kh2fm a translation patch, a mod+voice mod for sora and some addons to the game and still works like a charm
