UPDATE: The original domains ps3xploit .com/net/org have been unlawfully seized and resold. They should be considered unofficial and potentially dangerous to use. There will be community hosting at some point soon, which will be the new home of PS3Xploit and other projects. PS3HEN and BG Toolset will be updated to use the new domain, once a name is settled on, and we have everything setup.

For the time being, mostly everything should be working from the .me domain. There was a post by @Coro with a working copy of the Alternate HEN Installer on GitHub, here is the link (https://ps3addict.github.io/alternate/). This link is also on mirror page for now.

The situation is complicated, so i wont bother you with the details.

The BG Toolset is more complex than just moving files, and will most likely be unavailable for a time.

The **ps3xploit.com >Domain no Longer owned by team** (ps3xploit.me =new) contents have been mirrored to ps3xploit.me, with a few caveats.
  • The site HTML and JS have been modified with the new domain extension. Any release files are untouched, as this only applies to the site installation web files.
  • The current PS3HEN releases will not be touched, however, the p3t installer files will be rebuilt (saving old ones) to accommodate the .me extension only. This does not affect HEN in any way, but is the file that is used to download the HEN PKG, and will fail if the server domain is not edited.
  • The HEN version check and auto update will fail.
  • Anything that uses **ps3xploit.com >Domain no Longer owned by team** (ps3xploit.me =new) as a host will fail, for obvious reasons. This cannot currently be avoided.

After try install alternate HEN menu from the mirror site, my browser cann't be opened now. Please help if anyone have solution. Should i reinstall fw?

That doesnt even make sense. Do you mean the browser entry is missing? The site is still not finished restoring everything 100%, although most stuff is there now.

When you say the browser cannot be opened again, please explain that. You can reboot and try to open it and it just doesnt open, or it opens and closes, or its missing?

I know the alternate installer is known to do that if XML write during exploitation get corrupted iirc, because it changes your Network XML entry, it can hide the whole column if there is even some small problem.

I would recommend using the normal installer or the auto installer.

You will have to reinstall FW, yes.

I know it's Not the place to ask but it's only part of this site working for me everything else is just saying psx error on this website does anyone know why

Most things should now work fine from the mirror. You are not very specific to what you are referring to, so I don't have a better answer for you.
 
Hi I just got into the ps3 jailbreaking/modding scene I see the website has been down I have a ps3 that is cechg01 and the hdmi port don't work and the cd drive only reads cds not blue rays so I was trying to mod it and your website is down I see you have a backup site I tried to do the bgm toolset and it gives me a dns error is that not backed up yet

Hello, I have similar issue, after instalation HEN from mirror site, there is nothing in Network on my PS.

Hi sir, thank you for your response. And of course for your great work creating the xploit.

I can see the browser tab in XMB. But it can't be opened. The remote play menu also gone, nothing displayed. So I can't browse to the mirror site.

I have reinstall the FW too. But it not works, because it was the same version. I tried to install 4.88, but the PS3 couldn't update to the lower version.

I learn that downgrade the version could be possible, if I have access to the browser.

But my MMCM can't be opened, no rebug app, and had no idea how to install it without browser or MMCM's file manager.

Not to be rude, I highly admire your works. I post my problem, because I need a help. Maybe help from another member that had same problem.

Did you even try my suggestion of not using the alternative installer, just use the regular one or the auto one.
 
Well, GoDaddy let the domains get resold. I'm pretty sure it's illegal what they did, so I will be contacting EFF or any other suggestions.

The short version is that I was sent 2 emails, one on July 27 and on July 29 from the Digital Crime Unit for malicious/fraudulent site on **ps3xploit.com >Domain no Longer owned by team** (ps3xploit.me =new). I didn't see the first one, but did read the 2nd one, which stated that I had to remove the offending content and move hosting somewhere else, within 24 hours, and if it wasn't done by Aug 1, 2022 then the products would be deleted.

I contacted GoDaddy support and explained the situation. I was told I had to contact the DCU by email, which sounded absurd to me, since I was already on the phone. I was told that they couldn't be contacted any other way.

After sending an email in response asking them to release the domains, I didn't get a reply back for 2 days. I was hung up on by a supervisor during the first call. I called back and this time I was told that you can contact the DCU through their chat system. They again told me to send an email.

During the same 2nd call, I asked support if I had to remove the domains or just the hosting, and they said I didn't have to move the domains. So I got new hosting and backed up files, then removed hosting from GoDaddy, and pointed nameservers to new host.

At this point I thought everything was fine. The next day is when GoDaddy then proceeded to remove everything from my entire account, including 5 domains and nopsn hosting. I was only sent emails for 2 domains out of 5, regarding removal, after the fact.

I have since called GoDaddy around 8 times and have had 2 supervisors hang up on me and all the while, they never told me they unregistered the domains and were resold, until today.

So that's it. GoDaddy just (illegally?) dumped all of my domains back on the market, with zero accountability.

Wow you should be taking them to court over that it's ridiculous start a go fund me I'd donate a % towards a lawyer. They can't just do that and get away with it. As for the fraudulent claims I don't see how the justify that. It costs yous money and time to setup. So sue them for reparations
 
for some reason when using the manual (alternate) installer, the XML is being written incorrectly. It is missing the last closing triangle bracket, and is a space instead. I feel like this issue has been addressed before, but i dont remember now. I still recommend using the auto or normal installer

Hi.. uh.. I just got hfw 4.89 and i went to install the enabler from ps3xploit.me after i saw that the official one was down and it didnt load.. Im not sure why. It loads fine on computer but i type the link on ps3 and nothing shows up?? What can i do if anything?

When you say you type the link and nothing shows up, please elaborate that. I know the site works, Ive tested it. All you should have to type is ps3xploit.me, there is no https, only http.
