PS3 HAN PS3Xploit v3 HAN/HFW SELF Replacer [BD/PS1/PS2/PSP/VSH DIRECTORIES]]

probably the BD*.self files are of interest and maybe the vsh.self with the adjustments that esc0rtd3w mentioned.
the bd player stuff maybe...but VSH adjustments.....i mentioned this when? lmao

yes we can patch the VSH in memory only, so if you meant that then sorry :D

It will softbrick if vsh.self by itself. I tried it. @Joonie says needs index.dat and index.txt for sure.....maybe work on 4.81 after all 3 replaced. I have not tested that yet.
Sorry for the misunderstanding, I meant these adjustments, but yes only replacing the vsh.self will lead to a brick, I thought when it's on the first page everyone would at least read that page and the latest one.

you would be wrong, people do not read anything...maybe a few of you do :-p

no problem, i am glad you are one that does read the big sized warnings on the page :D

@andoryuu3 You need a new swapdisc generating programm and swap one time more but games without updates still work on 4.66.
GW is bad, but with all the statistics the 3DS sends to nintendo and nintendo banning based on that and linking this to eshop purchase history, GW with private header is still the way to go online I guess (But I just play my bought copy of sm4sh anyway so I don't use it anymore as well).

gateway is like the trueblue of the 3ds world. it's nothing but stolen code with brick software added to it. both gateway and trueblue deserve to have a firecracker shoved inside and <BOOM>! ;)

@junaid , I'm not entirely sure. the version.txt is one of the files needed to spoof properly, and those are generally taken from ofw. are those both from ofw? my guess is that only the firmware number is important, but I don't know for sure. :)

No the right one is from dex. Look at line 3

oh, I only looked at line 1. I think the version.txt is what's displayed in the secret menu in system settings. it should work in ofw. taken from my tutorials:
  • Step 1: Go to System Settings/System Information on xmb
  • Step 2: Hold Down L1+R1+left on the directional pad+square for a few seconds.
  • Step 3: Now, release the buttons and immediately press start.
Note: The start button must remain pressed for the menu to remain unless you press left on the directional pad once. The only real advantage to this menu is that you can definitively determine the console type you are using: kiosk, shop, cex, dex, etc.

I replaced it with dex and the console rebooted. Will check what it says
