well, I had an old ps3, so I tested this unofficial hen, it has the same similarity as the official one, but I went deeper, and I found several things open, which makes the system extremely dangerous
 
why is HEN 3.20 taking so long to be released? I was stupid enough to update the console, but I didn't expect it to take so long for HEN 3.20 to come. Do you have any predictions on when it will be released? I have the console literally stopped because of the lack of hen! :apologetic:

Because it's done in the developers free time. Could take 12 months for anyone cares.
Never push a developer to hurry up, they'll just take longer.

Why are you talking as if someone owes you something? The ps3xploit team are all volunteers, which means that they can't work on HEN all the time because they also need to make a living. It will be ready when it's ready.
Still, if I need to give an answer I'd say that it'd take more than usual because they're also using the opportunity to update Cobra to version 8.4, which will bring some features that today are only available in CFW.
Also, I know there's an unofficial port somewhere. We won't post links here because the site in question has links to pirated games, which are not allowed on this forum. I only mentioned it because I know that people would probably rush ahead and install it. Anyway, some people report it works but mind that it was neither written nor tested by the ps3xploit team. While generally HEN is less likely to completely brick consoles, if you install anything unofficial and it does break your console people here won't help you, so do your pros and cons and decide whether you're willing to take risks or prefer to wait for a properly tested release.

Why bother explaining all of that then go on to basically tell them to install an unofficial version if they're impatient?

If you respect the official version and the devs behind it, why bother mentioning unofficial ports and throwing hints to where they are?

You're just leading people to possibly screw their systems up.

Acho que não, falaram que não querem se responsabilizar, pois outras pessoas podem baixar, e acabar danificando o ps3

I don't think so, they said they don't want to be responsible, because other people can download it, and end up damaging the ps3

Because they would've found those anyway, just like people found the bgtoolset clones (which are even more dangerous btw!) and if we don't warn people ahead of times, people may do risky things without realizing they're risky, or worse than that - come here to complain once things break.
 
When you click Install HEN in Browser - hold R2 button. It will turn off any plugins causing the freeze.

If this doesn't work for you - put blank boot_plugins.txt on root of USB drive and plug it into PS3 - then try installing HEN.
