  • PS4 Syscon Tools By Abkarino & EgyCnq:​

    PS4 Syscon Tools is a free solution (software & hardware) that allow you to manipulate original PlayStation 4 Syscon chip (Renesas RL78/G13). It consists of 2 projects:
    • PS4 Syscon Tools (PC client to allow you to control your PS4 Syscon Flasher hardware).
    • PS4 Syscon Flasher (Hardware flasher based currently on Teensy++ 2.0 - Teensy 4.0).

    Features:
    .
    • Syscon Flash Dumps:
      • Full (<50 sec).
      • Partial (dump any specific block or block range).
      • NVS/SNVS only.
        Note : the read process here not use the infinty loop method that continue to dump the whole memory content and pass it to TOOL0 like some other tools we use more effecient way that can read immediately any block you want.
    • Syscon Flash Write:
      • Full (<1.5 min).
      • Partial (write any specific block or block range).
      • NVS/SNVS only.
    • Syscon Flash erase:
      • Full (<4.3 sec).
      • Partial (erase any specific block or block range).
    • Enable Syscon Debug mode:
      • Allow you to only connect 3 wires to read/write your syscon by enabling OCD flag.
    Note : The process done on the fly so no need to dump the entire syscon and apply the patch then rewrite like some other tools.

    • (100 to 200)~ ohm resistor.

    • LQFP 64 - 100 Socket Adapter (Optional)

Can syscon be flashed with a kernel exploit? My ps4 is 9.03 but I don't have soldering skills, if a jailbreak comes out for a new firmware would I be able to flash the syscon from the os level and go back to 9.00 or is a hardware flasher required for syscon no matter what?
 
Can someone help me i have an ps4 slim since 2018 not being used but the problem is that this ps4 is broken i dont really know but my friend hit it with a fist on the back where power supply is but what i am asking is that could i put the chips that have the firmware that is exploitable and put it in a new ps4 slim ready to be jailbroken can this really work. If it does please someone reply to me
 
Hi I currently obtained a ps4 on ofw 2.03 if I did a dump using this syscon tool, would I be able to downgrade back from 5.05 if I updated it to jb, heard the syscon is important for any chance of a downgrade. Thanks

I expect there would atleast bd-drive to re marry or move that across too, and into an identical case or maybe the other consoles power supply could work in the one that's broken atm ,if he bang it you never know he may have just knocked something lose, a connector maybe.
 
Izofeu, no you cannot flash
the syscon just from using an exploit, afaik syscon is only dumpable and writable with hardware based flashers.

d3adb33f, no there is no way to just pull chips from one ps4 and apply to another ps4 without flashing them using per console keys. aka one chip from one ps4 uses a different key than say an identical chip from a similar ps4. unless you change the apu with matching syscon, bluray board, etc.

Everyone else, you can use this to downgrade however you have to have backed up your syscon and everything including your hdd before you updated, without the backups downgrade is difficult if not impossible. there is a way to revert an update to the preciously installed version however i dont know the exact procedure nor do i know the requirements for doing this.
