PS3 PSN Error Code

Whenever I go to sign in I get in instant error code 80710061. I've found multiple videos explaining how to fix it but they are all options I have tried already. I have however set up a hotspot via an iPhone XR an was able to sign in perfectly. So would it be home internet related? Most forums say it's an ip ban. Others simply restart their router and they can sign in.. any advice or input would be appreciated!!

IF it worked fine on your iphone hotspot, THEN you have isolated it down to either IP, or router/wifi settings

I accidentally set a reserved ip for the ps3 in my xfinity router settings the night before. Then realized when I couldn't sign in that could be the problem. I set it back to dchp and no fix. So should I just reset the router to default settings new ssid pass ect? I've already tried restarting it. I didn't fully understand the reserved ip option. Probably shouldn't have touched it.

if you want ps3 to always have same IP, try changing network settings on ps3 itself. set it to manual ip. you may also have to enter the router/gateway ip.

Yeah I've done that a couple times and have had success. For some reason I'm running into the same problem again. I was able to successfully sign into today then It happens again. Still no definitive answer from google yet.
