I'm not sure anybody did this conversion what I've done today, so hopefully I could help for some people with similar problems.
So basically CFW2OFW conversion only works if the disc game has an official update from the golden age of PS3. I tried to make a fake patch for BTTF The Game for like a month with no success. (I know the episodes has separate PSN releases, but I wanted the whole season in a single game on XMB like TellTale's Batman.) I think today I surpassed that with PSN Liberator, TrueAncestor SELF Resigner, PARAM.SFO Editor.
1. We need the disc game with a decrypted iso. ( I'm not giving tips where to get that but it rhymes with Grimm's Fault and Tomsbun.)
2. We need the PSN Liberator and Self Resigner.: PS3 - PSN Liberator | PSX-Place, PS3 - TrueAncestor SELF Resigner by JjKkYu | PSX-Place, PARAM.SFO editor (by Aldostools) | PSX-Place
3. Mount the iso file and take the PS3_GAME folder to your computer.
4. Edit the PARAM.SFO from DiscGame to HardDriveGame then save it.
5. Take the EBOOT.BIN to the Self Resigner folder and resign it to NPDRM EBOOT. Put the new EBOOT.BIN back to the PS3_GAME folder.
6. Rename the PS3_GAME folder to the ID of your game. ( For me it was BLES01596 for BTTF The Game EU)
7. Open the PSN Liberator to add your game as a folder game then create PKG.
8. You pretty much done! íthe program makes and NPDRM Free PKG and you can install it on your PS3 with CFW. ( I haven't tested on HEN but I think is should work.)
I hope I could help with this to some similar fans of XMB games.
