What's the process for using PSN PATCH plugin (properly) with Rebug 4.76.1 LITE?
In Rebug Cobra 7.1 overview it mention PSNpatch stealth support in regards to compatibility with ISOs, IDK why unless they include PSN patch plugin and/or no longer use and promote SEN enabler. I haven't installed 4.76.1 Rebug yet, just wanted to make sure there isn't any specific instructions since 4.75.1, .2 and .3 all had problems with PSN patch or led to confusion on how it all worked together.
EDIT:
(I rather use this than my current setup which is HABIB 4.75 w/ 4.76 spoofer, since current CFW is safer than spoofers)
a) install rebug lite 4.76.1
b) install rebug toolbox (see rebug notes) , activate cobra, reboot
c) install psnpatch - go to the toolbox menu, activate psnpatch plugin. apply (will rebot)
[edit]: to activate psnpatch press the combo in XMB - more info and additional functions detailed in the docs.
What joonie meant in rebug descritpion is that the cobra 7.1 included in rebug already includes a process of directly disabling (partially) the syscalls.
This process can be used by any other tool that uses those new opcodes.
But psnpatch includes a new process in which it disables COMPLETELY the CFW syscalls, including syscall8 (cobra core).
As cobra is disabled, until next reboot, you will not be able to mount other games besides the one already mounted.
There are some (few) games that may not work well with this, unless they are converted and mounted as ISO.
In other words:
Q: Do you have a game that doesn't work after psnpatch disabled the syscalls ?
A: Convert it to ISO format !
[edit]
NOTE:
This new process is called stealth3 extensions is based in a temporary payload that hooks a random syscall to then disable all the others. In the end it exits gracefully, leaving the syscall table and memory exactly as it was before.
