Pz2 gow2 freeze

I've downloaded gow 2 in format of ISO (and converted to smaller files than one ISO) using USB UTIL in my PC and put it in my 16GB USB, I'm playing with the USB,OPL and OpenTuna mods,there is a game freeze at a cutscene,I re-converted the ISO to smaller files and it got fixed,now when I want to save the game,it freezes before it says "do you want to save the game?", nevertheless, I re-converted the game many times which made another part fixed and another part bugged but the save problem part didn't get fixed,what can I do?(I'm not using VMC for it)
