Question about third party controllers.

So since there's not really a market for ps3 controllers(and I mostly just don't want to buy more controllers lol)
I've been using a third party ps3 controller for quite some time now, and it works great...with most games. On some games(so far I'm certain it doesn't work with mgs3 and that old hulk game.) It just straight up doesn't register any inputs in those games. This controller has no ps button so my only choice from there is to shut down/reboot. Does anyone know any fixes or something like that for this kind of controllers?

You could use the "PS3 Remote Controller" with a smartphone or tablet just for "PS" button or casual use.

Thanks for linking that plugin! It seems like exactly what I need. I'll try it out tonight or tomorrow and report back

Unfortunately it seems the plugin dosen't work. I'm on HEN but the plugin menu won't show up even if it says plugin loaded. I also tried making a custom device in the txt but that just made my controller not work at all.

sounds like you have a usb gamepad (like for use with a PC). they will work for some games but not all.

Yup, that's the one. So there's no plugin or fix for that? That sucks since I've found an old game I really wanted to play but it doesn't work

i dont know if ps3xpad will work with gamepads or not.
