hi i dont know if this is can be done but can you add your own instruments to a ps1 game
i was able to rip a ps1 game as a iso file with image burn then i used iso buster to extract the games files. it is a game called music 2000 were you create music what i want to do is if it can be done can i add my own instruments to this game. then put it onto a cd or dvd disc i can patch it with esr patcher i convert some wav and mp3 files to vag files. cos in the games folder there is some files called vag files which on google it says vag files are ps1 audio files. then i put the vag files in the same folder as the original vag files turned the game files to a iso file with ultra iso software then i used esr disc patcher to patch the iso file then i used image burn to put it onto a cd and dvd cos the original game which i have is a cd ps1 game. anyway it boots up on my ps2 slim console with a purple screen and just stays on that. i also made a bin file with ultra iso software and put the vag files in it then in the overlays folder. then i turned it to a iso file with ultra iso software then i used esr disc patcher then put that iso on disc but same thing game boots up with a purple screen. so were would the instruments be then that are on the original disc i do see a lot of .pal files in the ps1 folder but i dont know of any software that will convert wav and mp3 files to ps1.pal files. so is there anyway i can add my own instruments to a ps1 game it is just figureing out were the audio instruments are stored on the ps1 folder if anyone knows a way around it. i have took some photos of the ps1 games folder
