Check this tool: https://github.com/juju2143/wadtool

Here is a thorough explanation on the WAD format used on Music 2000: https://wiki.a39.ca/Music-2000/WAD

Putting anything on a DVD for the PS1 won't work. You are tied to CDs only.

That's not what you've asked first. Make up your mind.

Yes, you do. If you have the ISO image of the disc, you can know where the files are located.

So, if you don't know on which format are the audio files, then why are you asking about WAD files in Music 2000?. It doesn't make sense.

Your second post is completely different from your first. Don't make offtopic posts on your own thread.

If you want to take it to the next level, I advise you to leave the game alone and install a more complete DAW instead.

hi gamerman5000 how do i do the install a more complete DAW instead what is that then

what i really want to do if it can be done is to add my own instruments to the music 2000 ps1 game i thought maybe i could convert the wav audio files i have to a ps1 wad file then turn it to a iso file and put it onto a cd but it is not that easy to do.

the music 2000 game i am not sure were the instruments sounds are in the folder i thought maybe i could convert my wav audio instruments to a ps1 format but i am not sure were the ps1 sounds are in the ps1 games folder.

What comes as a "game" in "Music 2000" is a DAW, which stands for Digital Audio Workstation.

The music software industry has revolutionized since then.

There are free ones like LMMS where you can train as a music producer. You can create your own beats, bass lines, mix, add effects, and even create instrument sounds. There you can do exactly what you want: add your own VST (Virtual Studio Technology) instruments to create music.

It takes time to learn how to use it, but it's worth it, plus there are tutorials and forums all over the internet.

Hi everyone I have got a question I need to ask

Is there anyway to make my own ps1 wad file and put my own ps1 vag files in it.

There is a ps1 game music 2000 it has some music samples in it. in the ps1 wad file there is music samples which is vag files I have tried to add my own music samples and replace them with my vag files.I have done which are ps1 vag files which is a ps1 audio format but there is no way that can be done. so I thought of if I can make my own ps1 wad file and put my own ps1 vag files in it can that be done cos I don't know of any software that would do that
