PS2 Question play ps1 games off usb hard drive through ps2 console

Hi I am new to this site and I am only allowed to post questions on this page

the question is about ps2 slim consoles
which I have a ps2 slim console with some ps1 games on a exfat usb hard drive .bin files and some .iso files
I dumped some ps1 games to pc using dvd decrypter some are .bin files and some are .iso files. is there anyway I can play thoses ps1 games on my ps2 slim console I did buy off eBay a free Mc boot memory card a psx mem card which says in the booklet you can install this on a ps1 console or ps2 console. it comes with the files on it it has a micro Sd card at the side of it I have installed this right cos I read the manual book and I installed it on a ps2 slim console. It has ulaunchelf and it has some other things and can view my usb hard drive through u launch elf it has the . Bin files and the . Iso files but I can't play thoses ps1 games on my ps2 slim console. I did install on my free mc boot memory card retroarch for the ps2 off the website it is a elf file but when going on that emulator you can only play retro games like Sega and snes and other games. there is no emulator for ps1 games with retroarch.elf file there is only other emulators so can I play ps1 games off a usb hard drive through my ps2. Also on my free Mc boot memory card it came with on it usb advance and hd loader elf files and codebreaker 9.2 patched I have tried the usb advance but it does not find any usb hard drive so does anyone know anyway to play ps1 games on a ps2 slim console.

  • bdm_assault.irx must be pasted into mc?:/SYS-CONF/USBD.IRX
  • usbd_bd_assault.irx must be pasted into mc?:/SYS-CONF/USBHDFSD.IRX
what do i do then will i be able to play ps1 and ps2 games off a usb hard drive then

it does not say on the page anything else it just says put the 2 files
Usage
To use this project you have to place the two IRX binaries provided into the path that your app looks for them.

Makes POPStarter compatible with exFAT devices.

For PS2 games, you need a launcher like Open PS2 Loader that supports exFAT.
For PS1 games, you can run the game's "ELF" file with WLaunchELF, as it is compatible with exFAT devices.

You must place the files "usbd.irx" and "usbhdfsd.irx" inside the POPSTARTER folder on the memory card, to do that you do it through WlaunchELF and then simply run the game from WlaunchELF once you have created and renamed the necessary files to use POSPTARTER following the guide that I gave you.

for example you run "XX.SCES_000.60.Mortal Kombat 3.ELF"
