Well, that is the problem.

Did you follow the MrMario video tutorial ?

That muppet does not mention checking dump ... please guys, dont recommend that video to anyone.

See HERE , he just tells people to reboot after patching

No i dont get paid for any developing, its just a hobby,I am wrong person to ask, I cant even code. :) And im not part of any official team. I work alone mostly.

and this is all off topic. so make a thread in off topic if you want to talk about that kind of stuff.

None of the developers here get paid for what we do... We do it as a hobby for free. That's the beauty of this community. ;)
You don't need any computer science degree either... just passion and dedication ;) A degree will ease the learning curve though.

You will need:
- A PC or laptop + network cable or router
- PS3 SDK or ps3l1ght SDK for development or modify/compile open source projects
- PC & PS3 Tools with keys (there are various that are needed for different tasks: PUP, flash, rco, xml, eboot/self/sprx resign, etc.)
- A PS3 console to test your stuff
- Read various articles here and in psdevwiki
- Time for test, explore, experiment, read, read and more read...

You can share your discoveries and contact most of the devs in this forum. Some use private chats too.

There are other ways of help the community. e.g. documenting, translating, testing, helping others with correct info, etc.
