PS3 Question regarding runtime displayed on ps3toolset.com

Hello. I have a CECHC04 ps3 that I want to sell. It was bought on launch day and it wasn't played very much from then on.

I've been told that the runtime displayed on ps3toolset.com only includes the runtime starting from when the console was jailbroken. Is this true? If so, is there any way that I can determine the complete runtime? Thank you in advance.

The runtime on ps3toolset.com shows the total time your PS3 has been on, not just since a jailbreak, unless the clock was reset (e.g., battery replacement). For your CECHC04, use PS3 Toolset's "System Manager" to check it if jailbroken. If not, you'd need CFW to access it. That's the best way to get the full runtime. Good luck with the sale!

You can with wmm, possibly evilnat cfw as well. Afaik, the runtime is recorded in the syscon.

Thanks for your reply. So the syscon isn't reset after jailbreaking, making the runtime shown in ps3toolset.com the actual complete runtime read from the syscon? Sorry for the stupid questions.

It's not reset afaik. I don't know about the runtime on ps3toolset.com . I've never been on the site.

Hey to all Devs,

I am wondering about something.

Is it possible to show the total uptime on a PS3 OFW system?

i was thinking something like Mincheckversion
