On a PS2 Slim 90000, is it easy or difficult for the RJ45 port to fail dead? I play on the console via OPL USB; if an RJ45 port fails or dies, will any message be displayed on the console or in OPL? Will any strange behavior occur?

In OPL at least one of these errors should appear:
Code:
%d: Network startup error.
%d: No network adaptor detected.
%d: Cannot connect to SMB server.
%d: Cannot log into SMB server.
%d: Cannot open SMB share.
%d: Cannot list SMB shares.
%d: Cannot list games.
%d: No network connection.

On a PS2 Slim 90000, if any component on ps2 board malfunctions, do both slots stop working or only one of them? Are the slots independent or not?

On a PS2 Slim 90000 console, is it rare or frequent for memory card slot 1 to work normally and slot 2 to be dead?
